There are many housing options available for volunteers. Home stays, basic or nice hotels, living with other medical volunteers in simple cabins in a lovely garden, or what are considered luxury homes in Santiago Atitlán. Prices range from $150 to $650 a month.

Because of the high demand for housing near the Hospitalito, it is strongly recommended that you arrange housing prior to arrival

After you have been accepted as a medical volunteer, the Volunteer Coordinator can provide you with an on-line brochure listing housing options, rates, photos and landlord contact information. With few exceptions, volunteers must arrange their own housing directly with landlords.
